We are so excited to share that the Ceremonial Entrance, Front (Centre) Fountain and Back (Centennial) Fountain of the Parliament Buildings as well as the Confederation Garden Park Fountain and Waterfall in Victoria, BC will be lit red today, June 4th from dusk to 1:00 AM in honour of World Hemochromatosis Awareness Week. ⛲🌷🏛️ Many thanks to the Parliamentary Education Office for raising awareness on the most common genetic disorder affecting Canadians today! The 17th Annual British Restoration Fair & Swap Meet presented by The Old English Car Club & Saanich Historical Artifacts Society will take place this Sunday from 10 AM until 3 PM at Heritage Acres (7321 Lochside Dr, Saanichton). 🚗 The Canadian Hemochromatosis Society is so grateful to have been selected as beneficiary of this great initiative. In recognition of World Hemochromatosis Awareness Week, the Niagara Falls will be illuminated red this June 1st at 10:15pm for a 15 minute duration.💧🩸Heartfelt thanks to The Niagara Falls Illumination Board and to the CHS Niagara Chapter for helping us increase awareness of Hemochromatosis in Canada!
