BWXT is currently seeking a UPRR Audit and Release Technician for its Lynchburg, VA location! Job Description/Duties:
Maintains logs and updates impacted systems and area personnel.
Prepares/processes records and technical documents including, but not limited to, the following:
Non-conformance control documentation.
Responds to records requests from internal and external customers.
Reviews and prepares documentation for material, process, product releases, and certification.
Interfaces with customers to answer questions, furnish data, etc.
Notifies appropriate personnel about final submittal disposition.
Prepares forms for data entry and reviews records for completeness and accuracy.
Establishes and maintains records on the final release of each component.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications/Requirements:
Minimum of an Associates Degree in a technical field plus two (2) years' experience OR a high school diploma or equivalent with six (6) years of related experience is required.
Must be able to demonstrate strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
Must possess proven problem solving skills, a keen sense of attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize then execute tasks in a rapidly changing environment.
Must be a self-motivated and organized, with an ability to work independently or in a team environment and have the ability to learn new information quickly.
Must be able to read and interpret technical documents on a daily basis.
Must be a US Citizen with no dual citizenship.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) clearance.
Pay: $ 53,000 - $ 86,000
The base salary range for this position in Virginia (US-VA) at the start of employment is expected to be between $53,000 and $86,000 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors, and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, the selected job candidate will be employed 'at-will,’ unless employed at a location and in a position subject to a collective bargaining agreement. The company further reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment, compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and other market factors.
