DescriptionThe School of Nursing at Cedar Crest College is accepting applications for a qualified nursing professional for a 12-month faculty position in an Assistant Director position to serve as part of the Administrative team overseeing the BSN-DNP, MSN, and post-master's certificate programs. The Assistant Director will serve as a resource for faculty and students in the graduate nursing programs. This position assists with development, implementation, and ongoing assessment of graduate nursing initiatives; curriculum: didactic and clinical practicum experiences; faculty, student, and program outcomes; and will support the program in maintaining compliance with accrediting and regulatory bodies.
The successful candidate will provide classroom and online instruction, simulation and clinical instruction, student advisem*nt, and supervision of DNP scholarly projects for BSN-DNP students. Responsibilities include related duties such as college committee work, School of Nursing, and departmental duties, and continuing professional development and scholarship in accordance with The Boyer Model of Scholarship. Faculty positions provide weekly clinical release time, allowing the educator to maintain clinical competency in their practice area. The School of Nursing is committed to assembling a diverse faculty team with a global perspective, focused on creating an inclusive and transformative learning environment to prepare students for today's and tomorrow's healthcare challenges.

Qualifications: The successful candidate will possess unencumbered RN license in PA, have an earned MSN, and a doctoral degree. Qualified applicants should have a minimum of one year of clinical experience and prior classroom teaching, simulation, and distance education experience. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills as a member of the School of Nursing are essential. Candidates with prior experience with program and curriculum development, assessment, and evaluation are strongly preferred.
